We read this history and immediately noticed a key part was missing as to why the Japs signed surrender declaration on a battleship.Remember the US had built 4 Iowa class battleships by 1944. They were the Iowa, the New Jersey, the Wisconsin and the Missouri. What the post here failed to note was that all 4 battleships were practically brand new at time of surrender on 9/2/1945 so why the Missouri? Because that was the home state of then president Harry S Truman, a further ball bust.

Was talking to a dear friend yesterday about politics and he was lamenting the fact that he feels we have lost the Republic, that the elections will never ever be fair again with arrogance of Democrats staying in the basement or off the campaign trail insinuating the fix is in (feels Dominion digital balloting total scam coupled with early voting lack of voter ID in many blue states) to the blatant free speech censorship this platform has personally endured that stifles even entertaining competing viewpoints.And although we concur on the vast majority of his angst, it was our contention that an event of the magnitude described here would neutralize all of the political polarization and put mankind into a new level of survival mode with a brutal realignment of priorities on ALL LEVELS.

After reading this, a poignant point was made.That was 16 months ago Russia was at the gates of Kyliv riding a wave of momentum that suggested a quick takeover of the country. But today we see those same troops(if they survived) being ordered back to defend Moscow from mercenaries of Russia’s own making disgusted with what is painfully obvious as military incompetence of the highest order on all levels.A new stage of the conflict has begun.
