Borneo’s orangutans, Assam’s elephants — wildlife across the world is fighting a losing battle against bulldozers, greed, and habitat destruction. They may fall, but their struggle will remain a painful reminder of humanity’s cruelty towards the planet....

This better not be deliberate…but it sure looks that way. In our 7 decades here in Chicago, in only the last 5 years has wildfire smoke wreaked such air quality havoc.
