A dear friend forwarded this to us and after spending the full 20 minutes absorbing the content it fortified our belief we are re living the times leading up to WW1 all over again and we all know what happened there. As proud and sometimes defiant independent media we have goaded AND cajoled our followers to read between the lines of the force fed totally manipulated one sided biased propaganda spewed across our news spectrum politically and that mostly means whatever is said, the opposite is usually the real truth or downright ignored.That being said, the massive disconnect in policy noted here in political discourse on key foreign events and decisions mirrors similar realities that existed in the lazy summer of 1914 in Europe, the last peaceful summer of Empire for (4) soon to be extinct empires, the Romanovs in Russia (a 300 year dynasty), the Kaiser in Germany, The Ottomans in Turkey and the hapless Hapsburgs of Austria Hungary. Only the British monarchy survived and one may argue that after winning 2 world wars over half a century they came out post 1945 WORSE than they entered 1914. Please pay attention because like it or not Trump could end the war in a day if given back the power to do so.Renounce NATO expansion and Russia backs off, logistics easy to manage after that.The shadow whores running this country can’t have that which is why we see one lame duck attempt after another to stop him while the people continue to flock to him. If you do not want war then pay attention and learn to separate the media ‘wheat’ from the chaff.

We are aware of the initial buzz around Threads but still harbor serious trepidations on the perceived censorship issue looming long term. That Zucker has firmly entrenched himself on the “leftist’ side which to us means onerous censorship (we have seen first hand on Facebook) down the line especially as 2024 election cycle heats up is a major catalyst for our recalcitrance to build a platform on that site. We have employed the same mentality on Truth Social also but for slightly different reasons and opt to build on our wholly owned platforms for now because we relish the unfettered ability to say what we feel…

As first responders to the news cycle we have had to create a thick skin to insulate ourselves from the horrors we post on an almost daily basis. One could effectively argue that the heinous depravity we continually see, from the never ending mass shootings to war crimes in Ukraine among many others could alter one’s thinking into a perennial glass half empty mentality. Although our coverages span far more than “If it bleeds it leads” editorial mentalities this posted image always seems to bring us back to the GRATEFUL realities of our individual lives and recalibrates our mindset accordingly.
