Part of the national news “take” on the continuing Chicago disaster. As residents in the Greater Chicago Metro area (but NOT city proper) we cringe at what we see as the severe emotional duress and stress city dwellers are experiencing as to us it seems they live in an overtaxed unsafe war zone with little to no justice for crimes committed. The stark reality is we are witnessing a city in SERIOUS accelerated decline and since the revolutionary Democrats have taken power it has only gotten worse NATIONWIDE. Election of West Side progressive Johnson as new mayor to us only makes things worse. Time will tell but we personally harbor serious trepidations on the future of THIS city moving forward

Glen Ellyn Illinois is a great place to host this cultural event. Unlike the Banksy exhibition which chose the dangerous South Side of Chicago, a beyond idiot move that will scare off many more than it will attract. Getting in and out of there forces you thru some of the worst areas of the city and no one goes into the city anyway anymore.
