Being and living in true blue state of Illinois all of our lives (we are juvenile senior citizens) gives us a unique perspective on the political spectrum here. Because this state is ALWAYS written off as a Democratic stronghold in elections due to a variety of generational factors and a powerful police , teachers and labor union foundation politically entrenched in the 102 counties in this state at all levels, any discernible change we perceive in that political dynamic is notable.
