All thru human history, advances in all manner of weaponry has led the charge in humanoid pursuits. Krupp artillery from Germany dictated victory in the Franco Prussian war of 1870 which led to TWO world wars in the next century. It was WW1 that elevated mankind into the killing fields of truly industrial warfare, again led by the Krupp works of Essen Germany.
