Being history scholars, we relate to the sequence of events, especially in war. Remembering the brutality of the Japanese forces in Nanking China in 1937, the heinous procedures employed to subjagate and terrorize a mostly innocent and defenseless population, the brutal and heartless tactics were studied by the Nazis for use later..So when we read this, it invokes little pity for the barbarians got what they had coming.
