As the war rages on this June 22 2023 in the Ukraine, history reminds us that also on this day in 1941 an invasion commenced that would signal the beginning of the end of WW2 as the eisengruppen fanned out over the border….Thank God Mussolini THE PUNK screwed up in Greece earlier in 1941 which prompted Hitler to send support troops to help bolster what he considered to be his southern front which delayed Russian invasion by a few weeks. Those few weeks would prove to be crucial as the Wehrmacht came within sight of the steeples of the Kremlin in November right when the Russian winter shut down everything, a situation that gave Russia time to regroup and ultimately defeat the Germans.
