We read this and see it as TOTALLY self serving. Here in Chicago, several of our key stations are currently operating under bankruptcy protections (Audacy WXRT & WBBM Newsradio among others)and a local regional operator Alpha Media has drastically cut back costs (read on air staff, production) at it’s stations. Impact of AI on programming to cut costs and how advertising dollars MAY follow still a MAJOR unknown…
