You may remember Amazon in the day absorbed HORRENDOUS losses for years and years while they built out and refined their infrastructure that eventually created the e commerce behemoth we now know as Amazon Prime. But lurking in the background was the brillant move of creating AWS as the backbone of the internet which had guaranteed margins of 25% as the static Internet evolved into the “cloud”.
One has to think that Open AI may have same mentality in regards to AI market dominance as they weather these horrendous losses but where is their strategic back up plan? Is there a “backbone” mentality to AI, an all encompassing common denominator “foundation ” that could concievably spawn unlimited focused AI applications from it?
