So now the new de minimis amount is now effectively zero for most commercial shipments, as Trump ended the previous $800 duty-free exemption for parcels valued under $800 on August 29, 2025. This change means that low-value commercial imports into the United States will now be subject to tariffs based on the product’s country of origin and its applicable duty rate, rather than entering the country tax-free. The important thing that is not being reported is that now all packages will need to have contents be declared and subject inspection reducing drug traffic a lot we hope… we will see, this guy has bull balls and is looking after our well being…
