They were the Iowa, the New Jersey, the Wisconsin and the Missouri. What the post here failed to note was that all 4 battleships were practically brand new at time of surrender on 9/2/1945 so why the Missouri? Because that was the home state of then president Harry S Truman, a further ball bust. →
