In a nod to the warped perceptions an independent news outlet like ours must adapt to so we can “read between the lines” on things, we see this post by Trump as part political and part benevolent. Why? Because anything Trump can use in his already announced campaign for president against the incompetent incumbents must be muted or minimized in their view, and at any cost. In that vein, desperate Dems eager to dodge being blamed for this banking debacle on their watch before it maybe spreads further would be wise to make good with depositers and maybe do more than they normally would have JUST to spite Trump using it as a talking point. Yellen insinuated that today in interviews but what the Fed does tomorrow and in next few days will tell the tale.
