Being life long Chicagoans we are acutely aware of how this city is designed to work and the jarring failures Democrat leadership have caused.
From the glaring failures in law and order and public safety (read SAFE T Act),and by extension soaring retail and robbery crime to the decaying commercial real estate tax base, this city is already cliff dancing on the edge of fiscal disaster. Now we can add travel as much of Chicago’s tax base is based on taxes connected to hospitality.Ominous financial headwinds.
