Dolph Ludgren is a former Swedish Marine, a Karate champion, and has a genius IQ, would Sylvester Stallone admit that in a real fight Lundgren would easily destroy him since he’s entirely outmatched by a landslide?

Oh, Sylvester Stallone would definitively admit that Dolph Lundgren could easily beat him in a real fight.

In fact, Stallone has admitted that during the filming of Rocky IV Lundgen nearly killed him with a single punch. While that body blow to the chest wasn’t actually the end for Stallone, it did put him into intensive care for the next eight days.

(If this fight from Rocky IV had happened in real-life, Stallone would not have survived the first round. Lundgren was so powerful that he could have easily beaten Stallone to death without too much effort.)

There was so much power behind the punch that it caused Stallone’s pericardial sack to swell, which put life-threatening pressure on his heart. Stallone’s blood pressure was over double a safe and healthy level for days thereafter.

The doctors were amazed to learn that the damage was done by a punch, by the way. They told Stallone that the injury was more in line with what he would have suffered in a car accident if he wasn’t wearing a seat belt and his chest struck the steering wheel.

And that was just one punch – so a knockdown fight with Lundgren would have been more lethal than a full-blown car accident for Stallone.

If the two had really boxed with Lundgren landing multiple full-force blows, he would have easily killed Stallone.
