As media we follow The Columbia Journalism Review as a matter of course. We realize they have serious ties to Harvard and lean left in disseminations but in many ways reflect the challenging state of journalism in an ever changing media ecosystem and landscape.

When we read this article we chafed at the call to arms tone of the piece. The insinuation Trump would use the FCC to “punish” wayward news outlets for opposition content harkens to a reality we felt in 2022 when Fox capitulated to Dominion and settled a case our astute legal team was convinced they could win on 1st Amendment grounds.

The strong suspicion we felt but had no proof of was a back door threat was made to to yank the Fox TV licenses and because the soon to be evicted whores were petrified that a full blown court case would allow for a probing discovery phase that would reveal the flaws in those electronic voting systems now universally acknowledged.

And the reality in 2022 was they could still pull it off in 2024 so it was paramount to cloak that reality at all costs.

Food for thought moving forward as the fears of a controlled media landscape permeate thru the blatantly bought and sold mainstream media. We are grateful we embraced the conservative mentality as the extreme Leftist policies alarmed us and the obvious deterioration of the quality of life we clearly saw was the catalyst for us in our chosen editorial direction we firmly believed was right for America. And on Tuesday we were proven right…in a landslide.
