We have posted before on how we were enamored of Taylor Tomlinson of After Midnight, the James Corden replacement show owned by Colbert”s Spartina that debuted in January of this year.
We do not care what your politics are and to say Colbert is a Leftist is an understatement but to misrepresent facts in a mocking segment on pets being eaten in Ohio to us on a show about useless Internet banter with fake points was uncalled for.
Mind you, we exercise liberal attitudes on media content and have accepted the fact that this election cycle the Democrats are in desperation mode so every bought and sold media network (ABC in glaring bias at debate to start) will be expected to be in lockstep supporting the word salad lying cackler. OK Fine.
The masses are weary of the constant and repeated BS and outright proven lies spewed by MSM, from the origins on the pandemic to the stolen election to the dangers of the vaccines to Biden’s dementia capped of by the fake economic numbers constantly being revised to the detriment of the situations described.
These repeated media “gaffes” have decimated the leftist bastions on cable and network TV (ratings and revenue declines do not lie) and severely eroded the public trust manifesting itself in this election cycle.
In addition the proliferation of streaming options and cable cutting by the masses have further brutally reduced audience by attrition.
So when the team behind After Midnight is obviously prodded to castigate Trump after last night’s debate , they do it with lies. In their desperation to paint the word salad queen as a viable candidate (good luck) they totally misrepresented the Springfield Ohio Democrat debacle of the highest order by claiming the pets being eaten by the Haitian scumbags were a fabrication. This after the Ohio Secretary of State and numerous on the ground witnesses and local government officials proved and stated otherwise.
We are chagrined at this grossly misleading editorial choice for dissemination but it is what it is. Bye Taylor, it’s been fun ….
