Last night, Chicago saw nation-leading 40th mass shooting w/3 more children shot-100 this year & the 19th killed. Meanwhile, Mayor restates he will eliminate ShotSpotter, the shots fired alert system. Expect more people shot to die as police shortages delay response times.

Many cite this delay as the watershed moment that triggered the cascading sequence of military events that culminated in the punk corporal's humiliating defeat.
