Realizing that the state of the world in 1914 was still in long standing empires that were totally and completely decimated after the war FOREVER (Romanov Russia, Kaiser Germany, Ottoman Turkey Hapsburg Austria Hungary) and spawned a new world order and impacts we are still grappling with today.
Exacerbating the total ridiculousness of what transpired leading up to declaration of war by Austria Hungary on Serbia on 7/28/1914 for being behind whacking The Duke AND his wife Sophie on 6/28 in Sarajevo triggering the intricate set of alliances FORCING world war (much like today) is fact King George V of England, Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany AND Czar Nicholas of Russia were ALL related by blood thru the late Queen Victoria and still they could not stop the trajectory toward total war.
