Chicago sports fans got a mixed bag this week. First the Chicago White Sox insinuated they were leaving town in 6 years when lease at Guaranteed rate Field expires ostensibly to give them leverage in future talks, a ploy they used before.Then we got word Steve “Mongo” McMichael IS on the ballot as a semi finalist to be inducted in Football HOF in Canton OH. To those of you unaware, Steve is suffering greatly from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and the possibility of him getting in at this point in his life exhilarating to all around him and to us.
