Some may say Chicago is a “cold” place on the mean streets of the city but we have to say there is a real chill in the air these days. As we witness record breaking temperatures all around the world this summer, here in the Midwest aside from some sporadic heat waves, it has been a somewhat temperate summer. Drawbacks are several EXTREME rain making events after a mini drought we experienced thru late spring and early summer and substantially increased tornadic activity. But yesterday and this morning, the subtle yet gently present autumn chill could be felt reminding us yet again the seasons change and so do we.
