Sadly the brain dead idiot stupid "dreadhead' cowboy tainted the image of black cowboys back in 2020 when the moron abused a horse riding it on the Dan Ryan almost crippling it to highlight a message long forgotten and if not for an amazing equestrian the animal would have been put down. Then the utter and complete fool represented himself in court when charged with animal cruelty and enraged the judge so much with his ignorant antics he was given a year in jail.That whole debacle was a black eye (no pun intended) on the concept of black cowboys in Chicago sorry to say.
