This indigenous population has historically been more than amenable to taking to the streets to voice their disgust of things. The apparent "execution" of the defenseless Algerian teenager perpetrated by an overbearing cop allegedly stepping over the bounds of decency and entering into the insidious space of brazen brutality and murder is what prompted these uprisings in the first place.
