Named USS Seawolf, USS Jimmy Carter and USS Connecticut they represent the most lethal capabilities in our underwater fleet. The Connecticut is out of service for 16-18 months for repairs after allegedly hitting an undiscovered underwater mountain in the South China Sea while on a recent patrol.
