DUPAGE COUNTY — Eight people face multiple felony charges in connection with three apparently unrelated burglaries that took place at businesses throughout DuPage County. The burglaries involved businesses in Westmont, Lombard and Oak Brook on March 9 and March 10.

Four Charged in Burglary at Mariano’s in Westmont

Four individuals have been charged in connection with the first burglary, which took place March 9 around 5:15 p.m. at the Mariano’s at 150 W. 63rd St. in Westmont.

Jeana Ziko, 36, Debra Ziko, 56, Christopher Ziko, 55, and Mark Ziko, 53, all of Chicago, were charged with felony counts of burglary and retail theft. Jeana Ziko was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Mark waited outside the Mariano’s store while Jeana, Debra and Christopher went into the store and stole Red Bull drinks, Nexium, cat food and detergent. The total loss was valued at $1,300.
