Not to alarm the masses reading this, but history is CRYSTAL CLEAR in documenting thru the ages the correlation between major earthquakes and subsequent volcanic eruptions. When we see Indonesia affected, especially by near to the earth “shallow” quakes posted here it harkens back in time to 70K yrs ago when Tobu blew in Indonesia, spawning the last Ice Age which only ended about 12,000 yrs ago and almost totally wiped out mankind in process. At least the melted glaciers from that era that ended up as far South as possible moving forward during multi thousand year warm up cycle left us the 5 Great lakes. (blows away lame climate change arguments eh?) Note last 2 MAJOR volcanic eruptions on our earth also emulated in Indonesia with Tambora in 1815 (Year without a Summer DOCUMENTED in 1816 and largest eruption of last 10,000 years) and Krakatoa in late August 1883. Food for thought moving forward.
