Earthquakes are the percursor to volcanic eruptions and Indonesia. all thru history. has been the epicenter of some of the biggest eruptions EVER. From Tambora and Krakatoa in the 19th century to the Toba supervolcano eruption 74.000 years ago which altered life as we know it on earth (reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory ) Indonesia has rocked Mother Earth.
That being said, pay attention as this earthquake may trigger something volcanic in the near future. Let us hope not
