Here in Illinois, we had our first gubernatorial TV debate between incumbent JB Pritzker and Darren Bailey and consensus from our perspective was debate devolved into verbal free for all with name calling and interruptions employed by both sides but ending with no real input from either party/candidate on issues citizens clamoring for positions on

Pritzker looking lame one month out as continued debacles by his party on national level MAJOR DRAG on his chances and misdirected messaging by campaign vainly trying to address law and order and abortion issues looking so manipulated in desperation as attack ads showing this governor’s weakness in being unwilling to trumpet achievements are now the norm.

For the record, we are seeing very few Pritzker campaign signs ANYWHERE in our world and the Pritzker campaign mantra “STRONG LEADERSHIP IN TOUGH TIMES” laughable hypocrisy to most. If Illinois re elects him 11/8 they have NO ONE to blame but themselves for whatever comes next but we sense an upset in the works. Time will tell

RIP Loretta Lynn who passed at age 90 this week, a true musical legend. This caricature says it all
